«Los jóvenes, la fe y el discernimiento vocacional»

Señor Jesús, tu Iglesia en camino hacia el Sínodo dirige su mirada a todos los jóvenes del mundo. Te pedimos para que con audacia se hagan cargo de la propia vida, vean las cosas más hermosas y profundas y conserven siempre el corazón libre. Acompañados por guías sapientes y generosos, ayúdalos a responder a la llamada que Tú diriges a cada uno de ellos, para realizar el propio proyecto de vida y alcanzar la felicidad. Mantén abiertos sus corazones a los grandes sueños y haz que estén atentos al bien de los hermanos. Como el Discípulo amado, estén también ellos al pie de la Cruz para acoger a tu Madre, recibiéndola de Ti como un don. Accompanied by wise and generous guides, help them respond to the call you make to each of them, to realize a proper plan of life and achieve happiness. Keep their hearts open to dreaming great dreams and make them concerned for the good of others. Like the Beloved Disciple, may they stand at the foot of the Cross, to receive your Mother as a gift from you. May they be witnesses to your Resurrection and be aware that you are at their side as they joyously proclaim you as Lord. Amen.

Ti preghiamo perché con coraggio prendano in mano la loro vita, mirino alle cose più belle e più profonde e conservino sempre un cuore libero. Accompagnati da guide sagge e generose, aiutali a rispondere alla chiamata che Tu rivolgi a ciascuno di loro, per realizzare il proprio progetto di vita e raggiungere la felicità. Tieni aperto il loro cuore ai grandi sogni e rendili attenti al bene dei fratelli. Come il Discepolo amato, siano anch’essi sotto la Croce per accogliere tua Madre, ricevendola in dono da Te. The Path of life… Advent vocation prayer

Mary, Mother of the Church, pray that your son Jesus, my Lord and Savior, may accomplish in me the will of the Father by the light of the Holy Spirit. Beg him on my behalf, Blessed Mother, to equip me for my ministry in his Church as I advance in my vocation.

Ask him, Humble Virgin, to grant me a specific mission and reveal it to me, and then provide me with the necessary vision, wisdom, strength, and all grace to accomplish it, for the good of the Church and the glory of God.

Mary, Handmaid of the Lord, intercede for me that always and everywhere, and in everything, I may remain open and responsive to his Word, repeating with you for all eternity: “Let it be done to me according to your word.”

May all this be accomplished through the abundant love the Father showers on me and asks me to share with all his children. I ask this through the Sacred Heart of Jesus, your Immaculate Heart, Mary, the Paternal Heart of St. Joseph, and with the intercession of all the saints, particularly:

All the Apostles, Saint Michael the Archangel, St. Benedict, St. Meinrad, and St. Francis de Sales. Amen.

Consider the God’s call…

Put some time and effort into considering your vocation —be open, be generous, be brave. Answer the God’s call is a wonderful adventure! But at the same time be grateful for the person you are now, and for the work God has given you to do today.

Pray for yourself!

CONSECRATION TO MARY AND PRAYER FOR STRESSFUL'S TIME...

Peggy Chase is my «Gringa Madre», and she gave me this beautiful prayer that she has said every day since She was nine years old. She found it in an old missal belonging to her great aunt May. It is a beautiful prayer to consecrate every day to Mary:

«To Thee, oh Mother of my soul, I consecrate the last three hours of my life and this day. When death cuts the thread of my days, give my soul to Jesus, and tell Him, "I love it". This alone will be enough for me to obtain the benediction of my God and happiness of seeing thee for all eternity. Amen»

She also gave me this prayer that she says when health and other life's difficulties are stressful:

«Oh God, let me walk a litter closer with You, especially when my health and courage fail. You and I both know dear God that I can't journey through life on my own. Take my hand and hold it tightly for I cannot walk alone. Amen».

Praise the Lord with your «YES»…

Prayer for Catechists*

Jesus, you told us that laborers for the vineyard would be few and that we should pray to the Lord of the Harvest in the hope that many might respond. You have answered our prayers by sending us catechists for your vineyard.

Bless these men and women who have responded to your call to the ministry of catechesis. May they be filled with zeal for your Church, with care for those they catechize, and with love for your Word of Life. Let your Spirit come upon them so that your Word may echo through their teaching and through the witness of their lives.

Through our catechists, may the members of our parish whom they teach be transformed into witnesses to your Word. And may these catechists receive the blessing your Son promised to all who labor in your vineyard.

We pray to you, gracious Father, in the name of your Son, Jesus, the Word of Life, and in the unity of the Holy Spirit who transforms us by that Word, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We ask that we may know

and follow you have called us.
